Get your future Bak “Star” prepared for their audition with our three-day, communications arts boot camp! Over the course of three Saturdays, your student will sharpen their writing, speech and analysis skills to WOW the adjudicators! Class will include impromptu creative writing prompts, speech/writing practice and media analysis. There will be a mock audition and specific instructor feedback for each student on the last day of class.

When: Saturdays, 12:00 – 4:00pm December 21 – Jan. 4 (3 weeks)

Instructor: Emma Sue Harris

Emma is a graduate of the Communications Arts Department at A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts. Emma was speech captain on the DSOA Forensic Team during their time there and championed countless local and regional speech competitions. In addition to their speech experience, Emma is a published writer and a trained actor. They studied at Webster University and moved back to South Florida last year, at which point they began coaching students for auditions into both Bak and Dreyfoos.
