ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Actors’ Rep Announcement; October 8, 2020
While restrictions are lifting in Palm Beach County we are finding it prudent to take our re-opening slowing. Your safety is our first priority and before we open our doors again it is of utmost importance that we ensure the community remains safe.
In the meantime, we will continue to offer online classes in a variety of disciplines.
Our virtual season opened with Beyond Therapy last month and was a hit! Sheepskin, our second play of our virtual season, will be streaming November 13-21. Make sure to check it out!
Gratefully,
Actors’ Rep
Actors’ Rep Announcement; July 15, 2020
Due to the reinsurance of COVID-19 cases in Florida we have determined that in-person classes must continue to be postponed until it is deemed safe for the general public. We had hoped to resume in person classes in August, however, it seems as though we will have to wait. We had almost made it!
We are continuing to work hard to bring high-quality and effective courses to you online. We hope that you will take part in these classes while we anxiously await the day we can re-open.
While our live season has been postponed as well, we are looking to bring our performances online. We did a true about-face once we were unable to retain rights to our previously selected works. We have found a new selection of plays that allow for virtual rights and will be announcing our carefully cultivated selection once rights are approved. We are disappointed in not having a live season but excited to explore the new medium that online theatre presents.
We would like to thank everyone for staying true to theatre during this time and appreciate all the love and support we have received from the community.
Gratefully,
Actors’ Rep
Actors’ Rep Announcement; March 23, 2020
Dear Friends,
Our top priority is the health and safety of everyone involved at Actors’ Rep.
Due to mounting concerns surrounding COVID-19 and based on the recommendations provided by the CDC for preventing spread in communities, we have decided to postpone our scheduled performances and classes effective immediately.
We want everyone to stay safe and healthy and feel that this measure is prudent based on the current climate.
Shows and in-person classes will resume when appropriate and we will notify you as soon as possible the dates that these activities have been rescheduled for.
Your class and performance purchases will be valid for their corresponding rescheduled dates. Your patience and understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated.
Gratefully,
The Actors’ Rep Team
