This class is back by popular demand! It will cover the fundamentals of vocal production, physicality, diaphragmatic breathing and clarity of words. An introduction to the elements of diction, with exercises to contribute to the actor’s goal of overall clarity and efficiency in speech will be covered. The course will consist of vocal and physical warm ups, speech and diction exercises and lecture demonstrations. Participants will gain skills to work on their voice and speech skills that will be a foundation for the rest of their career. Class will be capped at 8 students.
This class will offered online through Zoom. You will receive an invitation link via the email you provide to the online session. Specific directions will be supplied.

Instructor: Bob Carter
Bob Carter founded the original Actor’s Rep in 1980 at 308 S. Dixie Highway, in downtown West Palm Beach, with the support of his many acting and technical colleagues. Although a professional actor (Member: Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, and Actors Equity), he is best known in Florida as a director and teacher. His students are working internationally, nationally and locally in theatre, TV, radio and film.
