This class is all about improv! Students learn improv basics and explore character work/physicality while improvising scenes, playing games and working as an ensemble. Improv is a valuable tool for actors and is frequently used in audition situations. Take the fear out of improv, have fun and grow as an actor!
This class will offered online through Zoom. You will receive an invitation link via the email you provide to the online session. Specific directions will be supplied.
When: Saturdays 1:00pm- 2:30pm (EST) March 27 – May 1 (6 weeks)

Instructor: Kat Kenny
Kat Kenny received her B.F.A. in acting from the Actor Training Program at the University of Utah and is a graduate of the UCB Training Center in NYC as well as multiple improv and acting training programs and workshops where she has studied with David Razowsky, Susan Messing, Tara Defransisco, Charna Halpern, and many other teachers who excel at their craft. Kat is the Education Director and a primary instructor at Actor’s Rep, where she has taught acting to children, teens and adults for over 15 years. Kat has earned the reputation as being one of the top coaches in audition prep for schools or the arts and college audition preparation.
In addition to theatre, Kat is a respected teacher and leader in the improv community, coaching several local teams and frequently teaching improv workshops and performing at Improv festivals all over the country.
