This virtual 2 day audition prep class will guide you through the chaos that is college theatre audition season! This class will cover: setting a list of schools to apply to, discussing BFAs vs. B.As and Conservatories vs. Universities, making a pre-screen and audition plan, choosing material, resumes, Q&A and more. Head into college auditions prepared and with a solid plan. Remember, your product is a direct result of your process!
This class will offered online through Zoom. You will receive an invitation link via the email you provide to the online session. Specific directions will give supplied.
When: Saturdays 12:00 – 2:00pm (EST) August 22 & August 29.
Instructor: Emma Sue Harris
Emma is a graduate of the Communications Arts Department at A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts. Emma was speech captain on the DSOA Forensic Team during their time there and championed countless local and regional speech competitions. In addition to their speech experience, Emma is a published writer and a trained actor. They studied at Webster University and moved back to South Florida last year, at which point they began coaching students for auditions into both Bak and Dreyfoos.
