Diana Loy

Diana Loy came to Palm Beach County as a music teacher – first, at Conniston, then, Lake Worth Jr. High.  She left teaching to act.  Now, she works part-time at the BBB, does Community Theater, Toastmasters, teaches private voice in Greenacres, and Coaches for Joyful Change.

Favorite roles:  The Bird Woman/Miss Andrew in Mary Poppins in KWP Productions, Dr. Charlotte in Beyond Therapy at AWRC, Auntie La in The Velveteen Undertow at PB Dramaworks, Sarah Goode in Sisters Rosensweig at LWPH, Ann Stanley in Forty Carats, and Carrie Pipperidge in Carousel.  Favorite musicals for which she was musical director: Fiddler on the Roof, West Side Story, and Into the Woods.

Diana and Bob Carter first met as, respectively, Golde & Perchik in Fiddler, then, she was his musical director for The Apple Tree at LWPH.  She worked at the original AWRC, and with the Youth Actors Guild.

She is a member of the company here, and is proud to be working with dedicated, talented artists of all ages.  It’s a pleasure being a part of Bob’s vision for actors.
