James Murat
James Murat is an actor, improviser from Delray Beach Florida. His debut role was playing a Paramilitary Officer in Nickelodeon’s ‘I am Frankie’ and since then other notable film roles followed: A Police Officer in the web series Duels and a med student in the TV show The Resident. James began training with Marc Durso at Universal Casting Academy studying the Uta Hagen process. Wanting to further his theatre training he enrolled at Bob Carter’s Actor’s Workshop & Repertory Company in July of 2016. While there he was introduced to Improvisational comedy taught by Kat Kenny which unbeknownst to James would become his second love. James is fluent in two languages Haitian Creole and French. He is excited to be involved in Hands Up and considers the character’s stories worthy to be told. Working on Hands Up has been inspirational to James who looks forward to more challenging roles in the future.
